Okay, when I arrived home from my place of employment Sunday that is how my dear son greeted me.
His father and I had made plans that I would go up a tier level in Second Life. This would allow me to keep the land for the Way Station and Booneburrow General Store plus take over the land that contained the tea garden and the Playful Koneko store. I would be responsible for more tier but my husband would be able to go to 0L tier.
Why would we do this? Because when I went up tier and he went down tier we ended up paying the same amount of money for tier each month – but we are now able to have much more land. He became able to obtain another 512 sqm. plot without being responsible for any tier and I still had about 2000 sqm. available for purchase.
By Monday night my husband had found a little 512 sqm. island of his dreams on the auction. He has already planted palm trees, built a simple hut and put up a hammock for two (I promise I won’t take this one over hon!).
I have bought more land that ajoined the Way Station (thanks Mak and Zip!), put a bid in on a piece of land on auction, and bought (and leveled) a beautiful piece of land with great ocean views on two sides.
Hmmm, this land baroness thing just might be fun!
